Case Study: Novartis TechOps World

In an organization as large and geographically diverse as Novartis Global Technical Operations, clear and consistent communication is key to the success of ongoing initiatives. To address this communications challenge, The SPI Group created TechOps World, a bimonthly internal newsletter, in 2000. The newsletter is available to TechOps associates worldwide on TechOpsNet, the organization's Intranet Web site. We produce the newsletter from start to finish, including editorial planning, research/interviewing, copywriting, editing, design and layout.

The increasingly competitive nature of the pharmaceutical market has amplified the need to communicate news on an ongoing basis. In July 2003, our work with Novartis Global TechOps shifted to include content production and management for TechOpsNet, and TechOps World became a monthly publication. We now produce editorial and graphic content on a weekly basis for publication on TechOpsNet, with TechOps World serving as a monthly "at-a-glance" view of all TechOps news.
